| Registration is now open for the ATLAS Physics Workshop to be held:
June 16-18
at
Simon Fraser University in Burnaby (Vancouver)
Information on the conference can be found at: http://www.triumf.info/hosted/ATLAS/index.html
Note that registration for the conference is separate from housing. You are expected to register directly with the SFU accommodations office for rooms on campus (recommended), or with the Executive Suite hotel. Information for both can be found on the website. Mid-June is on the cusp of high-season in Vancouver, so you are encouraged to make your travel arrangements soon.
The workshop will focus on early physics, calibration, triggering, and computing issues; what is needed to get first results out quickly. There will be a tutorial on distributed computing and analysis tools, probably on Wednesday afternoon.
Submission of abstracts for presentation should be made to Mike Vetterli ( vetm@triumf.ca ). There will be a poster session for papers that cannot be accommodated in the oral sessions. We look forward to a fruitful workshop.
See you all in Vancouver!
