This is a reminder that registration is open for the upcoming ATLAS Physics Workshop at SFU in Vancouver. The program committee has met and refined the agenda. The detailed outline for the meeting will be announced soon. The general program is described below.

You are reminded that abstracts should be sent to

M. Vetterli ( vetm@triumf.ca )

We will do our best to accommodate everyone. Time has been set aside for contributed oral presentations, but there will also be a poster session in order to be as inclusive as possible.

Monday, June 16
AM-1 STATUS OF THE LHC; STATUS OF THE DETECTORS (Inner Detectors, Calorimeters, Muon System). These talks will include a brief description of the hardware, followed by the status of commissioning, as well as plans for early running and stand-alone calibration.
AM-2 SYSTEM CALIBRATION & PERFORMANCE: Tracking, CALO (EM scale), CALO (hadronic scale)
PM-1

SYSTEM PERFORMANCE & PARTICLE ID: Jet Algorithms, Et-miss, b-tagging, e-gamma, muons, taus

The system talks (AM-2 & PM-1) will be aimed at the non-experts, with the goal of presenting an overall picture of what will be available in the first year and what the plans are the understand the detector.

Tuesday, June 17
AM-1 TRIGGER/DAQ Trigger menus; Trigger Algorithms & Performance; Streaming model
AM-2 DATA QUALITY MONITORING
  LUNCH: POSTER SESSION
PM-1 EARLY PHYSICS: Physics with the first 100 pb-1
PM-2 CONTRIBUTED TALK SESSION. Contributed talks might also be interpersed in the technical sessions as appropriate.
