The Halo 08 Workshop will be held March 27-28, 2008 at TRIUMF. This
workshop is organized by Saint Mary's University and TRIUMF.
The Halo 08 Workshop is devoted to a review of recent developments in
halo nuclei and TRIUMF's role in these developments, as the TRIUMF ISAC
facility has played a large role in halo nuclear physics. Future avenues
of research will also be covered, and will assist TRIUMF in the
preparation of its next five-year funding proposal.
The workshop will consist of invited talks and open discussion sessions.
There will not be published proceedings, but all presentations will be
available online and a conference report will be prepared.
Registration to the workshop is open to anyone who is
interested in attending.
