Original papers (not previously published or presented) from the whole field of accelerators are solicited, including low- and high-energy machines, accelerators for medical and industrial purposes, and accelerator subsystems.

The scientific program will include invited talks, contributed orals, posters, and an industrial forum. A special session on May 3rd is devoted to participation from young student researchers.

All contributed abstracts are to be submitted presuming presentation at the Poster Sessions. From these submissions, the Scientific Program Committee (SPC) will choose Contributed Orals, based on scientific merit, at its January 2009 meeting.

Since no contributions are accepted for publication only, any paper which is not presented at the conference will be excluded from the proceedings. Furthermore, the SPC reserves the right to refuse for publication work not properly presented in the poster sessions.

In order to maintain the high standard of the PAC proceedings and to keep them to a reasonable size, authors are reminded that only novel, original work should be submitted.
