The bus will leave at 11:30 am from Tigh-Na-Mara to Victoria. A box luncheon will be provided. The whale watching tour will start around 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and will take place in open zodiacs, which are safe and great fun. You will be fitted with appropriate clothing for the tour in the zodiac. A professional crew, who consider safety the highest priority, will guide you. Hiking to Cathedral Grove
Vancouver Island known as Canada's "Paradise on the Pacific" is famous for it's beaches, forests and artisans. Our Cathedral Grove nature tour has a taste of it all, from Parksville beach to Cameron Lake and Cathedral Grove (MacMillan Park) where the largest Douglas Fir trees and the largest accessible, intact Douglas Fir old growth forest on the east side of Vancouver Island grows. Enjoy the exceptional and awesome experience of standing next to trees 250 feet tall, 9 feet in diameter which are over 800 years old. Many rare and endangered plants and animals live in this ancient forest. This will be a 4 hours hike/walk to Cathedral Grove, which includes a stop at Qualicum Falls and Coombs Country Market.
