A number of social activities have been planned throughout the two weeks of TSI. For many of these, we need to know in advance if you will be attending. You are to cover your own costs for the Kayaking and Biking. The banquet will be covered by TRIUMF.

Tuesday, August 5
Volleyball & Barbecue at TRIUMF

Volleyball will take place at TRIUMF's outdoor volleyball court. At 5:00pm , a barbecue dinner will be provided for TSI students in the courtyard of the Main Office Building.

Thursday, August 7
Kayaking, Deep Cove, North Vancouver - $30

Please let us know by 10:00am Tuesday, August 5 th if you will be going kayaking, as we need to confirm numbers with Deep Cove Kayak. You will pay us directly for the kayaking - exact change would be appreciated.

You will need to sign a group waiver which will be available at the back of the Auditorium. If you are under the age of 19 and would like to go kayaking, you must have a form filled out with a parent/guardian signature.

Tuesday, August 12
Bicycle Tour of Stanley Park - $8.40 for 2 hrs

Bicycles have been reserved at Bayshore Rentals on Denman Street for 6:00pm . This allows for a 3 hour bike ride before they close at 9:00pm and the bikes need to be returned. You will be able to pay Bayshore Rentals individually upon your return.

Thursday, August 14
Banquet

Every year, TSI closes with a banquet at a unique location. This year you will be dining at Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island . Space has been reserved in their upstairs dining room with spectacular views of the harbor and city. Following dinner, you will proceed to Vancouver Theatre Sports for an evening of entertainment that is comedy improv at its best. All costs for this evening will be covered by TRIUMF.
