				Location Seattle , Washington The City of Seattle is located in the State of Washington in the Pacific Northwest - 113 miles (182 km) south of the U.S.-Canadian border. Otherwise known as the "Emeral City", Seattle is located at sea level and is surrounded by Puget Sound and many lakes including, Lake Washington, which stretches along almost the entire eastern side of Seattle, and Bitter Lake, Green Lake and Haller Lake.       Link to Visitor information     The official site of the City of Seattle   Talaris Conference Center   Located five miles north of downtown Seattle it offers excellence in comfort and hospitality. It is situated on an 18-acre wooded site surrounded by landscaped lawns, courtyards, walking paths and a larage wildlife pond.
