Practicum

A practicum will be offered for students or for scientists who have a research interest in advancing the field of targetry and target chemistry and who have been in the targetry field for one year or less.

The practicum will cover aspects of cyclotron maintenance, targetry, basics of automation systems, counting and survey equipment, and quality control for radiopharmaceuticals.  This practicum will be held on July 20 and July 21. There are a limited number of spots with bursaries available for the pre-meeting practicum.  Placement in the practicum and bursaries for the practicum will be awarded based upon a written application from the student / scientist who is requesting the bursary that describes their interest in attending the practicum and a letter from the person's supervisor in support of the scientist or student's application.
