For Convenors/Speakers
Speaker/Talk Assignments

The ALCPG parallel sessions convenors will solicit talks for their sessions and organize their programs.

For the GDE talks, the RDR systems leaders will be responsible for selecting speakers for the plenaries, and for organizing the parallel sessions.

The Reference Design Report Contacts list

The CERN conference system (Indico) will be used to accept abstracts and talks.

Laptops for Presentations

The local organization will provide digital projectors, but NOT laptop computers, in each room. Convenors are expected to provide their own laptops for connection to the projectors. Speakers are expected to either provide their talks in advance to the session convenor, or to upload via a memory stick, etc, at the meeting to the convenor's laptop computer.

It is recommended that Convenors set their laptop screen-saver settings to some long time interval, so that screens do not go blank during lengthy discussion periods.

E-MAIL ACCESS
Delegates will be able to connect to internet wireless campus wide for the duration of the meeting. Account and password will be given at the registration desk. Public terminals are available at several locations on Campus. The most convenient locations for the delegates are the Student Union Building main floor and Hennings Physics building room 205. Note, however, that wireless access is not immediately available from the Gage Towers, as it requires a separate payment to Gage.
