TRIUMF Funding Statement

TRIUMF operates as a joint venture and is owned by a consortium of Canadian universities.

TRIUMF's operating costs are funded by a contribution from the federal government through the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). The province of British Columbia provides building funds. In addition TRIUMF scientists are eligible for Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) grants and TRIUMF is a partner in a number of CFI projects.
