Clover Coordinate Table

This document provides the angular coordinates of the clover positions (the "centre of tile" positions), then describes how to derive the rotation matrices needed to go from the cooridnate system of a crystal to the lab frame.

[edit] Table of positions of detectors

This table gives the angular coordinates of the origin of the clovers when installed in the array. The front face of the clover will be at r = 11 cm or r = 14.5 cm. The proper alignment of the detectors is such that the blue and green detectors are on the larger-φ side of the direction axis. On the positive-x (port) side of the array (north on SEBT3A), this means blue and green are "up" and red and white are "down". On the negative-x (starboard) side of the array (south on SEBT3A), this means red and white are "up" and green and blue are "down". In all cases, blue and white are downstream and red and green are upstream.
